Having realised a lifelong ambition when he won the 2007 Lakeside World Professional title, he returned last year and reached his second Semi-Final (1995 & 2008). Just four weeks ago he was crowned 2008 Winmau World Masters Chamoion. His impeccable Lakeside record since he made his debut in 1994 includes two Quarter-Finals and runner-up spot in 2005. He is the 2008 British Pentathlon Champion and won the 2008 WDF Europe Cup Pairs title with John Walton (he has now won the Europe Cup Pairs title three times with three different partners). He is England’s longest serving captain (since 1993) and the most capped England player of all time. He was runner-up in the 2006 Winmau World Masters and also collected the 2007 German Open. In 2007, he captained England Men to Team Gold in the WDF World Cup. His titles are too numerous to list, but he has lifted both the WDF World Cup and WDF Europe Cup on four occasions each. Crowned 1995 and 2001 WDF World Cup Men’s Singles Champion, he was World Cup Pairs Champion in 1995 and 2003, and Europe Cup Pairs Champion in 2002. He lives in Peterborough with wife Sharon. They have two grown-up sons, Warren and Darren.
