This page explains where and how Lakeside World Darts uses AI tools, and how AI-generated images are marked. It is published in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act and the UK guidance on transparency for synthetic content, and it sits alongside the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
Images
Some images on this site were created with AI image tools. Where an AI image could be taken for a photograph of a real place, object or event, it carries a visible “AI” badge on the image itself, the word “AI” in the caption, and “(AI-generated image)” in the alternative text. Illustrations and stylised artwork, which are evidently not photographs, are not labelled.
Every AI image also carries a machine-readable marker inside the file (the IPTC “Digital Source Type” field set to “trained algorithmic media”). Provenance information embedded in an image is never removed or altered. No AI image on this site depicts a real, named person as if it were a photograph of them.
Text
The daily news items, match reports and event previews on this site are drafted with the help of an AI writing tool from published results, fixtures and tournament information, and are then reviewed before publication. Historical articles, player profiles, venue pages and the betting guides are written and edited by the site’s editor. Editorial responsibility for everything published here rests with Lakeside World Darts.
