Failed card payments
It has been brought to our attention that some bookings have been rejected because the card payment has failed. It appears that in certain instances the customer's bank is still holding funds as authorised. These funds will never be received by Lakeside Country Club as the card details do not match our strict security settings. We have been advised by the online card payment processing gateway that any customer, with funds on hold, needs to contact their own bank. Please contact your bank, using the telephone number shown on the back of your card, in order to speak to the Authorisations Department. After explaining that these funds will never be required by Bob Potter Leisure Ltd T/A Lakeside Country Club it is then the decision of your own bank as to when to release the funds. Kindly note that, if you do not contact your bank, the held funds should automatically be released by your bank within 7 to 10 days.
No hotel packages are available this year. Hotel accommodation can be booked separately with Potters International Hotel. A courtesy bus will run to and from the Lakeside World Darts at pre-arranged times. This is subject to availability and is not guaranteed in the instance of bad weather or mechanical breakdown or other events beyond our control.
